AllCeram Preparation Techniques
A chamfer preparation is characterized by thinned margins and a cutting with rounded inner angles and edges. The occlusal reduction on posterior teeth should be 1.5-2 mm and have a relatively flat surface topography. The veneering potential of Procera® AllCeram permits a variation in preparation depth of between 0.8-1.5 mm.
For molar preparations, keep the occlusal surface as flat as possible. Do not create a deep fossae/cavity. Make sure that the apex of the diamonds does not pass the edge of the margin and create a groove inside the margin. |

The preparation for Procera AllCeram Bridge must allow an occlusal-cervical height of at least 3 mm. The preparation should also be tapered away from the edentulous space to enable the correct connector design.
A conservative tooth reduction of 0.5-0.7 mm is recommended for Procera AllCeram Laminate and enough space for the porcelain is still created. The preparation can go down to a maximum of 2-3 mm on the palatal side. The preparation can be extended to or just pass, the contact points to a maximum of 1 mm. |

Procera AllCeram Crown

Procera AllCeram Laminate |
A moderate chamfer design with a depth of 0.8-1.5 mm and an occlusal reduction of 1.5-2 mm rounded smooth contours and a lack of sharp angles is recommended.
General guidelines are identical to those for the crown with the following additions. The prepared teeth must allow a bridge with an occlusal-gingival height of more then 3 mm. The edentulous space between the unprepared teeth has to be less then 11 mm

. General preparation techniques for veneers can be used. However, no sharp edges or sharp inner angles should be included in the preparation.

| To cement Procera AllCeram restorations, any luting agent can be used, without pretreating the restoration. This results in rational handling and clinical effeciency. Temporary cementation of Procera AllCeram Bridge is NOT recommended. |
The Procera production methods produce an even gap, with a controlled size and conformity in marginal adaptation ensuring, safe seating and clinical effeciency/safety showing fit and marginal adaptation. |

| The inner contour of Procera AllCeram is like an etched surface, with a highly retentive microstructure, as it contains no glass. Procera AllCeram only needs to be cleaned with standard methods, phosphoric acid and alcohol, to achieve a perfect surface for any luting agent. |
A number of different bonding materials have been evaluated using shear stress tests to assess the bonding strength to Procera AllCeram material surface after silane treatment. Ewa Adamczak, Department of Dental Biomaterials, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. |
